I consider myself a contemporary landscape artist. I use my art as a window to appreciate the essence of nature through both real and imagined landscapes, and through abstracted images. I attempt to imbue my work with meaning and atmosphere developed from years of observation based in a career of teaching ecology and conservation. My inspirations are vast and constantly changing like the seasons of life. The more I learn and experience, the greater the rewards. Sharing my artwork helps to breaths life into this process.
