John likes a good story. And John loves Impressionism, particularly in its later years. Also, John likes bold color and strong contrasts. So, as he has gotten deeper into painting, he brings all three to the canvas. His paintings suggest a story, but the viewer needs to get involved and imagine their own conclusion. There is some humor, some friction and a lot of uncertainty. Well suited for these times….
