Making art allows me to express my ideas and emotions in a way that words cannot. Each painting is a like short story; each viewer will 'read' it differently based on their personal experience.
Like my taste in music, my art making is varied. I paint in oil or acrylic depending on the mood I want a painting to convey. If I’m working on a piece that calls for high energy and intensity, I use acrylic, palette knife and thick sign brushes. These allow me to paint big and bold. When painting something representational that calls for a reflective mood and richer tone, I’ll work in oil.
