Whether it is my need to understand the workings of the subjects in my paintings or the way I repurpose medical imaging in my mixed media work, my art reflects my background as a Medical Illustrator. Like the scientists I have worked with, I begin with a thesis or goal and run with the surprises that come as I pursue that goal.
